Case Unstackers

The DCC Top-Out Case Unstacker receives cases stacked up to seven high, then lifts, unstacks, and inverts the cases, delivering them to an overhead case conveyor at up to 70 cases per minute. The Top-Out Unstacker is a rugged, hydraulically operated machine designed to work in the harshest environments and is PLC controlled to ensure dependable, trouble-free performance. Its design will provide you with years of unmatched reliability with minimum preventive maintenance.

The Top-Out Case Unstacker can handle all dairy case sizes in any orientation and can be constructed with straight through flow design, counter flow design, or even our pusher infeed design. The lift tower section of the Unstacker can also be extended in order to discharge at any height. The Top-Out Unstacker has optional stainless steel construction, optional powered discharge section, and even an optional DCC Automatic Case Repositioner, all to meet any of your unique case conveying needs.

Unitizers

DCC’s Unitizer systems are very similar to our Palletizer systems, but exclude the use of a pallet. Instead, the machine forms a 3×3 pattern of stacks and bundles them together with plastic or metal bands for easy transportation. Rather than using a fork truck, the unit is then moved via clamp truck typically to racking in a cooler for storage. From here stacks can be pulled to form orders based on customer requests, and sent to the palletizer for preparation before shipping.

Robotic Palletizers

DCC Automation’s Robotic Palletizing System is the cutting edge of automated palletizing technology. Our system utilizes a single robotic arm with a vacuum gripper in order to pick up your packaged product, rotate it, and place it in the specific pallet configuration you’ve designed. The DCC Robotic Palletizing system is the most efficient way to palletize packages of different size, weight, and pallet configuration seamlessly through our integrated controls system. If you are looking for a reliable and efficient single palletizing station equipped to handle all of your corrugated palletizing needs, look no further than Dairy Conveyor Corp.’s Robotic Palletizing System.

Milk Case Palletizers

DCC manufactures a complete line of palletizers for use with dairy cases. These machines are custom designed to handle a multitude of case sizes, stack patterns, pallet dimensions, machine orientations, and discharge heights. All DCC-built palletizers have the ability to interface with a variety of related equipment, including stretch wrappers, banders, and roller conveyor transfers. They are also PLC controlled, hydraulically operated, and rugged enough to work in the harshest environments. Their design will provide you with years of unequaled reliability with minimal maintenance effort.

Automatic Chain Palletizer

A typical chain palletizer consists of three sections: an empty pallet magazine, a stack loading pusher, and a discharge chain. The magazine is loaded by forklift, and empty pallets are dispensed using a bottom-out unstacking mechanism. The smooth operation of the pusher ensures stable transfer of the stacks. Safety features include a photoeye, which automatically stops the pusher if an obstruction is detected in the loading area. The discharge chain forwards the pallets from each station to the next. Full pallets automatically accumulate until they are picked up by forklift.

Automatic Ratchet Palletizer

Similarly, a typical ratchet palletizer also consists of three sections: an empty pallet magazine, a stack loading pusher, and a pallet ratchet. The magazine can be loaded by forklift or optionally via pallet jack. Pallets are dispensed using a bottom-out unstacking mechanism, which allows the pallet to slide out without making contact with any of the remaining pallets. The smooth operation of the pusher ensures stable transfer of the stacks. Safety features include a photoeye, which automatically stops the pusher if an obstruction is detected in the loading area. The ratchet mechanism forwards the pallets from each station to the next simultaneously. A hydraulic flow divider ensures that both sides of the ratchet move in sync.

Case Stackers

The DCC Case Stacker receives single cases and stacks them on top of each other up to seven high. This robust machine is hydraulically operated, designed to work in the most severe environments and is PLC controlled to ensure reliable, trouble-free performance. Its design will provide you with years of dependable service with a minimum of preventive maintenance.

The DCC Case Stacker is hydraulically operated, PLC controlled, and has a tubular frame construction. Our Case Stacker comes standard with solid stainless steel covers and control panel, straight-through flow design, a high discharge gate for maximum stacking control, and our DCC “End of Run” feature to clear out partial stacks. Additional features available for the DCC Case Stacker include: stainless steel construction, cylinder driven slide infeed with right angle combining transfer section, “Stack and Step-Down” design with right angle combining transfer section, and the “Smart Stacker” case counter and interface with central PLC system.

Plastic & Corrugated Box Packers

The DCC Auto-Pack Caser receives cartons or bottles and forms them into the required pattern. The pattern is then picked and lowered into a case or corrugated box and automatically discharged. The Caser can be built to handle both single and dual loads as required by line speeds. The DCC Auto-Pack Caser can be built for hydraulic or air operation and is PLC controlled for reliable, trouble-free performance. The Auto-Pack Caser can be enhanced with a quick change head option for ease of change-over between bottle or carton sizes and patterns.

The DCC Auto-Pack Caser features stainless steel construction, intuitive HMI touch screen and controls, PLC Ethernet capabilities, and VFD motor starting controls. The Caser can be used to pack plastic gallons, paper/plastic quarts, paper/plastic half gallons, small cross-section paper cartons, and even shrink-wrapped bundles. Our Auto-Pack Caser can safely pack your product using our Sure-Grip head design into corrugated boxes or plastic crates, and easily switches between case types and sizes.
