Innovative Conveyor Solutions for Every Need
Discover DCC Automation’s diverse range of high-quality conveyor systems, tailored for efficient handling of bottles, packages, pallets, and more. DCC’s conveyors use advanced technology and custom solutions to meet your facility’s unique needs.
Vacuum Conveyor
DCC Automation’s vacuum conveyor provides a convenient solution to the problems that come along with conveying unstable empty bottles, usually within the range of 8-32 oz. Our vacuum conveyor systems use 3 ¼” beveled, tight turning chain, along with an empty chamber below the chain which connects to a powered blower unit mounted on the side of the conveyor. When the system is turned on, the blower unit creates a vacuum in the empty chamber and creates suction on the surface of the chain that secures the empty bottles in place.
Gravity Conveyor
DCC Automation’s gravity conveyor, or “roller conveyor”, is perfect for transporting packages across short distances without the hassle of powered drives, take-ups, or chain. Roller conveyor is generally used sparingly, and it is almost solely used to move corrugated packages, but it has also been used in the past for other applications. Our gravity conveyor is equipped with the highest quality bearings and rollers to make sure your product travels quickly, safely, and consistently every single time.
Powered Roller Conveyor
Dairy Conveyor’s powered roller conveyor systems are typically used to convey empty or full pallets short distances. Many times in large facilities customers will use this type of conveyor to create an accumulation line between the palletizer and the loading dock doors. This allows for full pallets to be accumulated along the powered roller conveyor line before being moved into the trucks at the loading docks. That way if the palletizer or anything else upstream has to be stopped, the fork trucks loading pallets at the loading dock never have to. By insuring this, the peak efficiency for the plant can still be maintained, even in the event of disruptions upstream.
All powered roller conveyor is high quality stainless steel construction, and equipped with our top of the line chain, motors, and bearings. Since most often these conveyors will be carrying the heaviest loads in a facility we’ve designed them to sustain incredible weights, and equipped them with heavy duty power units to move your pallets safely and smoothly.
Cable Conveyor
DCC Automation’s cable conveyor is perfect for running empty bottles or containers from your on site unscrambler or blow mold machine to the filler. This lightweight form of conveyance can make very tight turns allowing for long lengths of empty bottle accumulation with a small footprint. Our cable conveyor is also very lightweight, small, and easy to fit wherever is most convenient, including overhead. For all of your empty bottle conveying needs, you won’t find a more reliable, affordable, or convenient solution for your facility.
Package Conveyor
When your need is to move your corrugated packages, empty or full, small or large, DCC can design and install a system to solve your most challenging conveying problems. Since 1954 we have earned a reputation for creating efficient handling systems for corrugated packages commonly used for fluid milk, cultured products, and ice cream plants. We have also found unique solutions to convey a variety of other products, which include citrus products, bottled water, still beverages, and even soft drink post-mix.
DCC’s package conveyor is manufactured exclusively of stainless steel and utilizes a large array of conveying mediums, including table-top chains, mat-top chains, plastic coated cable, gravity rollers, and belting. A variety of standard and custom made components, of unmatched dependability, are also a part of our arsenal to assemble a system that will meet your most demanding challenges.
DCC Automation also has a variety of add-ons to complement your package conveyor in order to better meet your unique conveying needs.
These add-ons include:
Plastic Case Conveyor
At DCC Automation, we are experts in handling returnable plastic shipping containers. Having specialized in the dairy industry since our beginnings in 1954, we have unparalleled experience in handling plastic milk crates, empty or full, single or stacked. Our standard conveyor designs are chosen based on the application. For example, conveyors that are elevated to an overhead level or installed embedded in concrete floors are of a sealed pan design, while those at knee level are often of an open design in order to minimize dirt-catching surfaces. The typical conveying mediums are steel or plastic drag chain and plastic coated cable.
In addition to conveyors, DCC Automation manufactures nearly every conceivable complementary component required for automating plastic case production lines. This web site contains individual tabs dedicated to the major equipment items that we offer. There is also a long list of offerings such as combiners, dividers, groupers, no-load accumulators, loop inverters, pushers, etc. that we furnish to provide complete plastic case handling systems.
On every project a member of our sales staff will visit your facility , determine your requirements, gather all the pertinent information on the project site and then provide drawings showing our proposed solution. Typical projects could be upgrading an empty case distribution system, adding a production line or modifying the order picking system in the cold storage warehouse to improve efficiency.
In the dairy industry we have earned a reputation for furnishing the most robust and reliable conveyor systems designed by the most experienced sales and engineering staff and installed by the best crews in the industry. The quality and experience of our staff has made our team the far and away leader in this field.
Stack Conveyor
DCC Automation has worked with stack conveyor since its founding in 1954. We have you covered whether you have fully stacked gallon milk crates heading for a cooler to be unitized and stored, or empty stacks waiting to be unstacked, washed, and recycled. Our knee-high, flush pan, and in-floor pan conveyor are constructed with 7-Gauge Stainless Steel and typically run rugged 3500 chain to reliably ensure a smooth, safe ride. For lengths of stack conveyor which are subject to accumulation we also have lift sections to relieve extra stress on the chain below. These come in the form of long square steel tubes that run the length of the conveyor. When the hydraulic cylinders are engaged, the stacks are lifted off the track, relieving the chain in that area. No matter the level of stack traffic, the distance, or the complexity of your stack conveyor lines, DCC Automation has you covered.
