CNC Senior Machinist | Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, United States (On-site)
Pay: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour

About the role | CNC Senior Machinist
We are actively seeking a Senior Machinist to work in our Inver Grove Heights, MN facility. DCC is looking to bring in a seasoned machinist to take over our machining. This position will work directly with Engineers and will report to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
· Program, set up, and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts.
· Develop and implement new CNC programs, optimizing cutting paths for efficiency, accuracy, and tool life.
· Develop part specific work fixtures, to produce multiple parts at one time.
· Ensure CNC machinery is properly maintained and calibrated for optimum performance.
· Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to produce parts that meet specifications.
· Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize designs for manufacturability.
· Work with quality assurance to maintain high standard of quality in all finished products.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Candidate requirements
· High School Diploma required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
· Minimum 1 year of CNC/Milling experience.
· Deep understanding of HAAS visual probing.
· Proficient in CAD/CAM software, such as Solidworks and Mastercam is a plus.
· Knowledge of machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
· Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
· Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
